This game is so amazing, youll never get tired of outsmarting opponents, making allies, sometimes betraying them at your advantage and double- crossing people and watch them fight each other, while quietly winning the game. One of the best strategy game out there.

This game will consume your life. Not for the feeble minded

Fun and addictive game that combines numerical, strategic calculations with a social dynamic that can change the context of those calculations at any moment! A fair warning: there is a bit of a learning curve before the real fun reveals itself. Luckily, the tutorial-puzzles provide a wealth of knowledge about the games mechanics, and I highly recommend completing most of them before jumping into a match. The last few are VERY challenging, but oh-so-rewarding for both your self-esteem and your knowledge of the games more intricate details. Warning #2: this is no fluffy, sparkling playtime filled with laughs and hugs. This is WAR. You will get backstabbed. You will get gangbanged. Trust other players at your own risk. Some criticise the lying, manipulating, and deceiving aspect of the game, but I find that it adds a certain desirable flavor to the game. It keeps you on your toes and makes you want to communicate with your fellow players. You may want to fine-tune your diplomacy skills and polish your BS detector :P Overall this game is incredibly fun, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes strategy, mind-games, and questionable diplomacies oozing with tension. Easily in my top 10 games of all time, which is surprising for a mobile game.

One of the best apps Ive played. Similar to diplomacy, but optimized for mobile use and more complexity involved. Excellent work on the game, folks. Add a teaming mode (4 teams of 2)?

Come on guys, this game is great, but they took out backstabbing medals. Instead, you have to give them an ANGRY medal, why cant you just say they backstabbed you. Its fun. And its as if someone made you not able to tell something bad about another player

Imaging playing chess, but against multiple players on the same chess board at the same time. Thats basically this game. You can win using strategy and attacking, or diplomacy and allegiances, or even lying although that will eventually catch up with you, just like life. I introduced my son to it and it has actually helped him better understand the politics of his interactions with others at his school and work. Now he thinks "what goals are these people trying to achieve? Am I helping or hindering them? How can they affect me and my goals?" Really, an amazing game, and I especially recommend it for teens or adults who may have had some struggle with personal interactions. This game is like Survivor, on iOS, played out over at least a week. My last game - came in silver thank you - took two weeks. If I could only recommend one game on your iPhone on iOS, this is the one that gives you the most entertainment and education over the longest period of time.

Subterfuge is great as an innovative strategy game, ideal for smartphones with the minimal time it requires for excellent gameplay. Where it shines, though, is when players start to put in more than a few minutes a day, designing days-long campaigns with honestly exhilarating bouts of deception and strategy.

I have played many iPhone games, and a lot of them are cheap and quick time wasters. This is not. This is a fun and deep game that plays over a week. You can make allies and enemies, be betrayed by actual humans you thought you could trust, and find a loyal colleague who will be at your side... Love this game!

This is the strategy game Ive been looking for. No nonsense cartoon graphics and no overly-complicated army building requirements. Basic but powerful images, straightforward objectives, and understandable rules. Thats what a mobile strategic games should be about. The strategy comes in the human relationships, the goal of balancing material need with allied interest. The simpler rules and objectives allow for more creative and diverse possibilities, making desired outcomes that much more enjoyably difficult to attain. One crucial note: if you cant handle the political lie, the overt utilitarianism, blunt betrayal, being outnumbered and ganged up on, and randomized maps that can leave you at an immediate disadvantage, this game is not for you. If you relish in building alliances, tearing them down and rebuilding them, hiding in shadows, outright subjugation of enemies, and patient but hard competition, welcome to the crew. For developer: Pleased that games can be customized through the maps and the outpost vs mining objectives. Definitely some technical glitches, especially with messaging. Nothing too worked in over, but can be annoying. The future scroller is excellent, but can use refining. Sometimes I would like to scroll to a certain point and I cannot. On that same note, the scroller divides the hour into tenths. The arrival of subs is divided into minutes. Some consistency would be greatly appreciated. Wonderful game.

Takes some time to learn but REALLY fun! Especially with friends. One reviewer described it the best, its like playing chess with multiple people and a large chess board, highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a good strategic game :)

By far the best stategy game ive seen. I personally dont mind the long games.

The game offers a wide array of strategic capabilities, simply solving the strategy puzzles is challenging and a lot of fun. Also, best game icon ever!

This is my first review ever of a mobile app, and if I bothered to do that its because I REALLY liked it. Although fairly simple, the strategic possibilities of the game are very exciting. Although the games are slow (very slow, one game can take more than a week to finish) they can be nerve wreckingly exciting. The subterfuge pun is not merely a pun, you really have to make some Game of Thrones-esque alliances and backstabbing to win. 5 stars deserved.

Would be awesome if there was some faster modes and maybe 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, ...
