Subtrefuge is an amazing game. Because the turns are long there is a lot of opportunity for diplomacy.

Subterfuge is simultaneously the most fun and most stressful game you will ever play on your phone. If you seem like youd like it then I recommend playing at least one game, and seeing how you feel afterwards.

-loads game -thinks it is fun -allies with someone -gets attacked -ally says hes sick so he cant play -ally then proceeds to fight a war with someone else -gets killed -ally is disappointed he wasnt able to backstab me and proceeds to win match -plays game with friends -we are no on longer friends 10/10 best betrayal/friendbreaker ever

This game is absolutely excellent. Its well made for sure. I propose a new specialist.. Something like Ninja: hides all specialist at the same station or on the same driller from other players. Promotes to Shadow Master: all specialist are hidden from other players (accept Queen). Maybe a bit too powerful but it would make things really interesting.

Most strategic and in depth game I have played on a mobile device ever. Highly recommended.

A strange type of strategy game, that lasts over a week, about alliances, betrayal, and checking your phone regularly.

This game is absolutely what I never knew I wanted from a mobile game! It has the depth to hold my attention for 30 minutes or more at a time. However, I can also just check in every now and then for five minutes to make some plans and move some troops. The paywall is a bit abrupt. This is a game that requires planning ten or more moves hours in advance using their time machine to see future conditions. However, without buying in you can only plan one or two moves. Its pretty much impossible to be effective this way. I payed up and dont regret it. The devs made a fantastic game!

So this is actually a very fun game until you come across the cheaters. Multi-boxxing, pre-formed alliances, etc, which wouldnt be hard to handle if the mods were actually still moderating the player base. They abandoned this app due to a lack of financial resources (or interest) and because of that the cheaters have been playing and rigging games left and right. It ruins the whole experience. Tl;dr: Due to a lack of moderators the player base is devolving into something along the lines of a 4chan forum.

The game seems boring at first but turns out to be one of the most conniving, blood thirsty week long gaming experiences youll ever have. I only wish it came with a medieval theme so I could feel like I was in Game of Thrones. This game is amazing. Try it.

This is game runs almost flawlessly other than a few minor crashes. The game has a completely unique concept of realtime combat over a week. There is a learning curve but I love the complexity of this strategy game. Definitely give it a try.

This game is a lot of fun. It takes a little bit to get used to. It is addicting.

This isnt about the game as a whole, but I dont like the idea of replacing the backstabbing medal with this; if somebody does an amazing job conniving me to draw away troops and hitting me, I think its commendable.

Awesome game, especially for a phone. It would be awesome to somehow make an expedited version, for people who have an hour to sit down together and play all at once.

It is an intriguing interesting game, and it is quite fun for strategists. It is a bit difficult to understand for some, at first. But overall this is an amazing strategy game.

I really enjoy this game. Its got a great concept and it never gets boring because youre playing with different people every game, and each game brings a new challenge. My only problem is the map layout. Its bothersome because its very unpredictable. I join and exit games because I dont have many dormant outposts neighboring me, or I only have factories near me. Sometimes Im maxed out of power in the first 10 hours of the game because there werent any generators available. Thus, making me vulnerable to other players. It would be great if random maps were not too random, and a little more consistent.

UPDATE: The app now crashes whenever I try to access my current game. I am no longer able to play. Extremely disappointing. PREVIOUSLY: Okay, the most recent update didnt fix a single bug listed below. Please fix bugs! PREVIOUSLY: Love it. But there are still so many bugs that irk me every game. Notes frequently do not save. (L2) Its really hit or miss. Future plans involving specialists that provide speed nearly always flash red after a couple minutes. Subs sometimes dont appear immediately after scheduling. Winner projection is sometimes inconsistent. I might be the only one logged in. Scroll through 48 hours and then back and then through 48 again and each time will have different winners projected at different times. Repeating provides yet again different results. With no apparent change anywhere on the map. And more. Please, please, please fix bugs!

This game WAS fun. When people backstab at least you could reward their "hard work" with an appropriate medal. Now all you give them is "You made me angry" medal which could mean anything. In the end this game is about backstabbing, and rewarding the best backstabber. If thats your cup of tea, by all means. I dont think backstabbing just like lying or cheating should be rewarded with a gold medal. Could be very fun.

Fun and strategic. The length of the game is necessary. Would recommend
