Its like playing a multiplayer chess game: world war theme.
This game is so amazing, youll never get tired of outsmarting opponents, making allies, sometimes betraying them at your advantage and double- crossing people and watch them fight each other, while quietly winning the game. One of the best strategy game out there.
Fun and addictive game that combines numerical, strategic calculations with a social dynamic that can change the context of those calculations at any moment!
A fair warning: there is a bit of a learning curve before the real fun reveals itself. Luckily, the tutorial-puzzles provide a wealth of knowledge about the games mechanics, and I highly recommend completing most of them before jumping into a match. The last few are VERY challenging, but oh-so-rewarding for both your self-esteem and your knowledge of the games more intricate details.
Warning #2: this is no fluffy, sparkling playtime filled with laughs and hugs. This is WAR. You will get backstabbed. You will get gangbanged. Trust other players at your own risk. Some criticise the lying, manipulating, and deceiving aspect of the game, but I find that it adds a certain desirable flavor to the game. It keeps you on your toes and makes you want to communicate with your fellow players. You may want to fine-tune your diplomacy skills and polish your BS detector :P
Overall this game is incredibly fun, and I would recommend it to anyone who likes strategy, mind-games, and questionable diplomacies oozing with tension. Easily in my top 10 games of all time, which is surprising for a mobile game.
One of the best apps Ive played. Similar to diplomacy, but optimized for mobile use and more complexity involved. Excellent work on the game, folks.
Add a teaming mode (4 teams of 2)?
Come on guys, this game is great, but they took out backstabbing medals. Instead, you have to give them an ANGRY medal, why cant you just say they backstabbed you. Its fun. And its as if someone made you not able to tell something bad about another player
Imaging playing chess, but against multiple players on the same chess board at the same time. Thats basically this game. You can win using strategy and attacking, or diplomacy and allegiances, or even lying although that will eventually catch up with you, just like life. I introduced my son to it and it has actually helped him better understand the politics of his interactions with others at his school and work. Now he thinks "what goals are these people trying to achieve? Am I helping or hindering them? How can they affect me and my goals?" Really, an amazing game, and I especially recommend it for teens or adults who may have had some struggle with personal interactions.
This game is like Survivor, on iOS, played out over at least a week. My last game - came in silver thank you - took two weeks. If I could only recommend one game on your iPhone on iOS, this is the one that gives you the most entertainment and education over the longest period of time.

Extremely slow game (expect ONE game to last well into a week) play that could have easily been designed to last several hours, the time it would be to play a normal strategic board game. Obviously not for the average player, not looking to invest a weeks worth of time into one game.
Extremely annoying "watch ad" for additional/second commands or pushing you to purchase the game, even during your FIRST game.
The community is rather toxic and negative. The newer players are friendlier but have no clue what theyre doing and will likely never return. Most resign after realizing a game will take at least a week to finish.
Unless you pride yourself in excelling in strategic games that takes weeks of your time and can survive through learning the game through the toxic community, then this game is not for you. Dont let the positive reviews fool you.
Good idea, but annoying crashes on ipad mini 8.3.1. Laggy chat. Requires improvement. No formal diplomacy.
I still find it pretty unprofessional and un-immersive that this app was released with a version number "420". Dont believe me? Go to its version history and scroll all the way down.
This is everything I could possibly ask for in an iOS strategy game. It doesnt require a ton of time, yet it requires a great deal of forward thinking. It doesnt require social gameplay, but most players are friendly, smart, and fun to interact with. The mechanics are intuitive and almost never gimicky. Download it and give it a few minutes of practice...youll be glad you did!
I can say that if I had to choose one game app to keep on my phone, this would be the one. The strategy is great, the diplomacy is better, and the community is very supportive of the game. If some of you dont know, the devs arent working on this game anymore because of money reasons. It saddens me to think that games like Clash of Clans has more money than it needs while this game didnt make it at all. The final update is coming soon. Better hope its good!
